  2. 1 cup od grated khoya (dried evaporated milks solids)
  3. 1 pinch of baking soda
  4. 1 tablespoon of oil or ghee for deep frying
  5. 4 green cardamoms or if you want you can use cardamoms powder (elaichi)
  6. 8 or 9 saffron (kesar)
  7. 1 ½ cups of sugar
  8. 2 ½ cups of water

#01 Take sugar, green cardamom and saffron in a deep pan (quantity mentioned above).

#02 Add water and bring the mixture to boil over high flame. Reduce the flame after few second and cook until the sugar syrup gets little sticky (don’t forget to stir occasionally). Turn of the flam as you are ready with your sugar syrup.

#03 Now move into making gulab jamun. Take grated khoya, maida and baking soda in a bowl, mix them well.

#05 Now divide the dough into 16-17 equal parts, grease your hand with oil or ghee to make smooth surfaced small balls without any crack.

#06 Heat oil or ghee in a pan over medium flame, Check whether the oil is heat by putting a pinch of dough in oil, if oil is heat it comes upward immediately.

#07 Add prepared 3-4 dough ball and deep fry over low flame until it turns light brown and increases its size.

#08 Drain and transfer them over kitchen paper and allow them to cool. Repeat the same process with rest other dough ball.

#09 Now add fried ball into warm sugar syrup.

#10 Let soak for at least 2-3 hours. Now you can serve and enjoy this delicious gulab jamun.
