Curry leaves is also known as Kadi Patta, it brings an amazing smell and taste to our food. It is easily available as well as it has several benefits internally and externally. Curry leaves have several health benefits plus it is beneficial for hair and skin as well. Kadi patta is rich in iron, homemade kadi patta hair oil is my favourite hair oil and I am using this oil till date from my childhood. Curry leaves are easily available throughout the year or you can grow a curry leaves plant at home. Moreover, if you don’t get curry leaves all the time then you can freeze the curry leaves in your fridge. If you eat curry leaves on daily basis then you never suffer from anemia.

1. Premature Hair Greying Treatment

You can prepare homemade hair oil, by adding curry leaves and virgin coconut oil. Apply this solution on your hair, to prevent premature hair greying as well as it is good for straightening the hair root. Another solution to prevent premature hair greying is mixture of half cup almond oil, half cup curry leaves and half cup olive oil. Warm all together around 15 minutes then allow it to cool. Filter the solution and massage on your scalp and hair with the solution, leave the oil overnight and wash your hair in the morning. Follow this process at least two times in a week.

2. Promote Hair Growth

Take a coconut oil in a small bowl and add handful curry leaves in it, boil the mixture. Once the mixture turn into black, turn off the flame. Allow it to cool, once it gets cool apply the oil on your scalp and hair, leave it for one hour then wash your hair with shampoo. To see the significant change, apply this solution two times in a week.

3. Prevent Dandruff

Make a simple hair pack in home with the help of curry leaves to prevent dandruff. Grind the curry leaves to a soft paste by adding boiled milk, once a smooth paste gets ready apply that hair pack on your hair and leave it for 20 to 25 minutes, then rinse it off. To see the positive result use this homemade pack regularly. It will prevent the dandruff as well as promote the hair growth.

4. Hair Mask for Shiny Hair

To get a shiny hair, mix a tablespoon of curry leaves paste with yogurt (3 tablespoon). Make a smooth paste and massage on your hair & scalp with the mask. Leave the mask on hair for 30 minutes then rinse it off. To get shiny and smooth hair, apply this mask once in a week.

5. Hair Mask to Get Healthy Hair

To make our hair healthy, we opt several methods but one of best home remedy is the mixture of Amla powder, curry leaves powder and Shikakai powder in equal amount. Soak all powder in one bowl and boil it for 10 minutes, then turn off the flame and allow it to cool. Prepare a paste and apply it on your hair, leave it for one hour then wash it with normal water. This mask promotes healthy and strong hair. Apply this mask at least two times in a week.

How to Use Curry Leave for Skin?

1. Acne

If you have acne problem and want to get rid of it, then you should have try the paste of fresh curry leaves powder and turmeric. Apply the paste on acne, leave it for some time, once it get dry wash it off gently. Apply paste every alternate day to get a significant result.

2. Cure Cuts & Burns

Yes, curry leaves are beneficial and helpful to cure the insects’ bites, cuts and burns. Boil the kadi patta or curry leaves with milk, let it cool down. Once it get cooled, dip a cotton ball in the solution and dab it on the affected area.

3. Glowing & Wrinkle Free Skin

To get wrinkle free and glowing skin, curry leaves can do wonder. You can make a face mask for glowing and wrinkle free skin. Take a powder of curry leaves and mix it with multani mitti, make a smooth paste and apply it on your face. Once it get dry, wash it off with water.

4. Pimples

Pimples are very common among the people and everyone wants to get rid of it. Moreover, the pimple marks are really irritating for a person, so everyone wants to get rid of pimple and its mark completely. So, if you also want to get rid of pimple and its mark, then apply the paste of curry leaves and lemon juice (few drops), make a smooth paste and apply it on the affected area. Leave the paste for at least 15 minutes then wash it thoroughly. To achieve positive result, apply this paste on daily basis.

5. For Smoother Skin

Due to our daily activities, smoothness of skin get reduces and smoother skin is a sign of healthy skin. So for smooth skin, a person has to retain the moisture and for that, this face mask is really helpful. Take 2 tablespoon curry leaves powder and mix it with 1/4th cup of olive oil. Apply the mask on face and leave it for 15 minute. After that, wash your face. This mask will keep your skin smooth and relax your skin.

Does really curry leaves are beneficial for hair and skin?

Of course, it is beneficial for skin, hair as well as for our health. I have tried so many home remedies of curry leaves and the results of all curry leaves home remedies were positive. The homemade curry leaves oil, hair mask, hair tonic and face mask; all deliver a positive result without any adverse affect.

If you are also facing any hair or skin problem, then at least one time you should have to try the curry leaves remedy. It is completely safe and natural, so it won’t affect your skin.
