No sooner we talk about Aloo tikki or Aloo chaat our tongue Starts tickling. Without any questioned this is preferred street food of India made in a various way depending on your test and deliciously spicy. The crispy outer layer that covers soft and spicy inner crust of potatoes, green peas and spice, very simple and easy making recipe with all the easily available ingredients, so shall we start with this Aloo Tikki Chaat.

Aloo Tikki Chaat

INGREDIENTS ( REQUIRED FOR ALOO TIKKI )

  • 2 cups boiled and mashed potato’s
  • 3 tbsp corn flour
  • 1 tbsp chopped green chili
  • 1 tbsp completely chopped ginger
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tbsp cumin powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp Amchur powder/Dry Mango Powder
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • ½ cup chopped fresh coriander
  • Oil for pan frying

 

Try Also with the Chaat Ingredients

INGREDIENTS ( REQUIRED FOR CHAAT )

  • 1 tbsp Green coriander chutney 
  • 1 tbsp Sweet tamarind chutney
  • 3-4 tbsp whisked yogurt
  • ¼ cup channa curry
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped onion
  • ½ tsp red chili powder
  • ½ tsp chaat masala
  • ¼ tsp black salt
  • 3 tbl besan sev
  • 1 tbsp Pomegranate
  • 1 tbsp chopped coriander

PROCESS OF MAKING

#1 Take a bowl and add mashed boiled potato, corn flour, green chili, ginger, chili powder, cumin powder, salt, amchur powder, turmeric powder and fresh coriander to make aloo tikki.

#2 Mix everything till it forms a dough having consistency.

#3 Make small round tikkies

#4 Keep a pan with some oil on medium flame.

#5 Give a shallow fry to the tikkies

#6 Now assemble the aloo tikki chaat on serving plate.

#7 Pour some channa curry and whisked yogurt on it with the help of spoon.

#8 Then add green chutney, tamarind chutney, chaat masala, black salt, red chilli powder, besan sev, red onion, coriander and pomegranate. And say to your tickling tongue.
