Moong Dal Kachori Recipe

INGREDIENTS (REQUIRED OF MOONG DAL KACHORI)
- 2 cup of refined flour or all purpose flour.
- 4 teaspoon of refined oil
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup of water
INGREDIENTS (REQUIRED FOR FILLING)
- 100 gram of moong dal (soaked for 2 to 3 hour).
- 2 tsp of chopped coriander leaves
- 3 to 4 chopped green chilli
- 1 tbsp of coriander power
- ½ tbsp of ginger powder
- ¼ tbsp of red chilli powder
- ¼ tbsp of garam masala powder
- 1 tbsp of fennel seeds powder
- A pinch of asafetida
- ½ tbsp of cumin seeds
PROCESS OF MAKING
#1 Take all purpose flour in a big bowl; add salt and oil and Mix well.
#2 Add little water and knead till you get soft dough. Cover the dough and keep it aside for 15 minutes
#3 Pre-heat a pan and add 4 tbsp oil in it now Add cumin seeds, asafetida, green chilli, coriander powder, fennel powder and saute well.
#4 Add soaked dal, salt, ginger powder, red chilly powder and garam masala
#5 Stir constantly until moong dal cooked well. Keep it separate to cool down
#6 Now take one ball of dough, flatten it with help of your fingers. Fill the stuffing of dal to make kachori. Repeat the process with rest other dough.
#7 Now fry the kachori in pre heated oil till it turns golden brown.
#8 And here your delicious moong dal kachori is ready to serve hot with chutney
